magazine review

  Our class have been assigned to do a magazine review. We are told to review base on 7 element of cover magazine which is masthead, selling lines, datelines, main image, main cover line, cover line and barcode. 

There are 7 elements of cover magazine:

1) Masthead

• The name of the magazine is displayed using the typeface and designed that is used.
• the typeface use is unique and easy to be recognizable.

2) Selling lines

• The selling lines of the magazine is 'because every girl deserved healthy self-esteem".
• The selling lines works as a tag lines of the magazine.
• It is short and have a sharp description.

3) Datelines

• The month and year are displayed above the bar code.
• It is also can be read from left to right which is easy for people to read.

4) Main image

• The photo of the model of the cover is large enough to be the major point of the cover layout.
• The images grab people attention which defines it as a focal point.

5) Main cover line

• The main cover line is "Disney's Olivia Halt.
• The main cover line is put very large and in a different font.
• Each line is in different colour.
• It is positioned against the shoulder of the model.

6) Cover line

• The cover line is distributed around the image.
• The cover line contain is selected

7) Bar code

• The bar code is located below and at the left of the magazine.
